What do we do?

RelaxOne GmbH is the operator of an online platform for booking and mediation for mobile health services, implementation of training and coaching, as well as all therapeutic measures in the rehabilitation, sports and care sector, as long as no permit is required for these. You can book our offered services at your workplace, at home, in a hotel or at events at any time through us.

Purpose and legal basis of processing:

We process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the DSGVO and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), insofar as this is necessary for the establishment, execution, fulfillment of a contract and for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Insofar as personal data is required for the initiation or execution of a contractual relationship or in the context of the execution of pre-contractual measures, processing is lawful pursuant to Art. 6 (1b) DSGVO. If you give RelaxOne express consent to process personal data for specific purposes (e.g., disclosure to third parties, evaluation for marketing purposes, or addressing you by e-mail for advertising purposes), the lawfulness of this processing is given on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1a DSGVO. Consent given can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

If necessary and legally permissible, we process your data beyond the actual contractual purposes for the fulfillment of legal obligations pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1c DSGVO. In addition, processing may be carried out to protect the legitimate interests of us or third parties and to defend and assert legal claims pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1f DSGVO. If necessary, we will inform you separately, stating the legitimate interest, insofar as this is required by law.

How do we collect your data?

Your data is collected when you provide it to us, e.g. via our contact form on the RelaxOne website.

Further data is automatically stored when you visit the website or the app. This mainly includes technical data, such as the operating system, the browser or app and the date and time of your page view, web analytics data, as well as pseudonymous usage profiles (cookie ID, ad ID, etc.) and referrers (i.e. websites via which the users reach our RelaxOne GmbH website).

We obtain your personal data from various sources, e.g. you provide us with data voluntarily when you register on our website, use it or access it in connection with one of our services. In addition, we receive such data from other providers, services and from public registers (e.g. from data traffic analysis providers).

Data processing:

On the one hand, part of your data is stored to enable the website to run as error-free as possible, and on the other hand, your data may be used to analyze your user behavior.

What types of data are collected?

We collect two types of data and information from our users.

The first category includes non-identifying and non-identifiable user data provided or collected through the use of the Website (“Non-Personal Data”). In this regard, we do not know the identity of the user (e.g. aggregated usage data, technical data transmitted by your device, including certain information regarding software and hardware, browser / operating system used, language setting, access time, activity on the website, browsing behavior, clicks, actions, etc.). Based on this data, we only improve the functionality of our website.

The second category includes personal data, i.e. data that can identify an individual or can be identified by reasonable measures. Such data includes, for example, registration data such as first and last name, e-mail address or address or other information, device data, geolocation data, IP address, unique identifiers such as MAC address and UUID, and other data resulting from your activity on the website.

Personal data:

RelaxOne GmbH only processes data that is related to the establishment of the contract or the pre-contractual measures. This may be general data about you or persons in your company (name, address, contact data, contract data, billing and bank details, etc.) as well as any other data that you may have provided to us in connection with the establishment of the contract.

Data Recipients:

Your personal data will only be transferred to third parties if the transfer is necessary and there is a justification. A transfer is necessary, among other things, if we need to fulfill our contractual obligations / services to you.

We only pass on your personal data within our company to those areas and persons who need this data to fulfill contractual and legal obligations or to implement our legitimate interests. We may transfer your personal data to companies affiliated with us, insofar as this is permissible within the framework of this data protection provision for the purposes and on the legal basis set out above.

Your personal data is processed on our behalf on the basis of order processing contracts pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO. In these cases, we ensure that the processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the DSGVO. The categories of recipients in this case are internet service providers, postal service providers, document shredding service providers, data management service providers and network technology service and support providers.

Otherwise, data will only be forwarded to recipients outside the company if this is permitted or required by law, if the forwarding is necessary for processing and thus fulfilling the contract or, at your request, for carrying out pre-contractual measures, if we have your consent or if we are authorized to provide information. Under these conditions, recipients of personal data may be, for example:

  • External tax consultant,
  • Public bodies and institutions (e.g. public prosecutor’s office, police, supervisory authorities, tax office, state statistical offices) if there is a legal or official obligation.

Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area:

Please note that some recipients may not be located in the European Economic Area. If this is the case, we will only transfer your data to countries approved by the European Commission with an adequate level of data protection or ensure an adequate level of data protection through a legal agreement.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right to obtain information from RelaxOne about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request that RelaxOne correct, block or delete your data at any time. Furthermore, you have the option of exercising your right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

This is necessary for the fulfillment of our and Trusted Shops’ overriding legitimate interests in the provision of the buyer protection linked to the specific order in each case and the transactional evaluation services pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Further details, including the objection, can be found in the Trusted Shops privacy policy linked above and in the Trustbadge.

User rights:

Every data subject has the right to information under Art. 15 GDPR, the right to rectification under Art. 16 GDPR, the right to erasure under Art. 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR, the right to notification under Art. 19 GDPR and the right to data portability under Art. 20 GDPR.

In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO if you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data is not lawful. The right of appeal is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

If you would like to exercise any of the rights listed here or would like further information, please contact our data protection officer at RelaxOne GmbH.

If the processing of data is based on your consent, you are entitled to revoke your consent to the use of your personal data at any time in accordance with Art. 7 DSGVO. Please note that the revocation is only effective for the future. Processing that took place before the revocation is not affected. Please also note that we may need to retain certain data for a certain period of time in order to comply with legal requirements.

Right of objection

Insofar as the processing of your personal data is carried out for the protection of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1f) DSGVO, you have the right pursuant to Art. 21 DSGVO to object to the processing of this data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process this personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing. These must override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing must serve the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Duration of Data Retention:

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes and enforce our policies. Retention periods are based on the type of data collected and the purpose for which it was collected, taking into account both case-specific circumstances and the need to delete outdated, unused information as soon as possible. We store records containing personal data of customers, account set-up documents, notifications and other data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the German Fiscal Code (AO). The periods prescribed there for storage or documentation are two to ten years.

Finally, the storage period also depends on the statutory limitation periods, which, for example, according to §§ 195 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB), are generally three years, but in certain cases can be up to thirty years.

In addition, RelaxOne GmbH is authorized to correct, complete or remove incomplete or incorrect data at any time and at our sole discretion.

Basis for data collection:

The processing of your personal data (i.e., any data that can reasonably be used to identify you, “personal data”) is necessary and lawful to fulfill our contractual obligations to you and to provide our services to you, to protect our legitimate interests, and to comply with legal and financial regulatory obligations to which we are subject.

The uses of the data may include, but are not limited to, communicating with you, e.g., sending notices regarding our services, providing technical information and, if necessary, responding to customer service requests, informing you about new updates and services, displaying advertisements when you use our website, marketing our websites and products, and for statistical and analytical purposes designed to improve RelaxOne’s website.

In addition to the various uses listed above, we may also share your personal information with our subsidiaries, affiliates, outside vendors and subcontractors.

Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts):

To ensure that our content is displayed correctly and graphically appealing in any browser, we use script and font libraries such as Google Web Fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts ) for this website. Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser’s cache, so they only need to be loaded once. If your browser does not support Google Web Fonts or denies access, the content will be displayed in a standard font.

When script or font libraries are called up, a connection to the operator of the library is automatically established. Theoretically, it is possible for this operator to collect data. It is currently not known whether and for what purpose the operators of the corresponding libraries actually collect data.

Collection of data by third parties:

We also require third parties to adhere to similar security requirements in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

When you access our RelaxOne GmbH website, we may serve ads using ad technology from third-party vendors. This technology uses your usage data to serve ads (e.g., by placing third-party cookies in your web browser).

You may opt out of many third-party ad networks, including networks operated by members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”). Note that even if you unsubscribe from receiving our marketing emails, we will continue to send you emails with important information that does not include an unsubscribe option. This includes maintenance messages or administrative notifications.

Corporate transaction:

We may share data in the event of a corporate transaction (e.g., sale of significant parts of a company, merger, consolidation, or asset sale). If any of the above occurs, the acquirer or the relevant company will assume the rights and obligations set forth in this Privacy Policy.
