Life can get hectic at times, and we often need quick meals to put on the table. This quick and hearty meal has your back. You only need a handful of ingredients to make one of the simplest of dishes, and it only takes a little attention or time.
What do we need?:
shrimp
Unsalted Butter/Olive Oil
Chopped parsley (optional)
lemon juice (optional)
So let’s start:
- Start by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat
- Add 1/2 teaspoon olive oil to the pan and toss to coat.
- Add 1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp to skillet and cook 2-3 minutes per side or until opaque.
- Remove the shrimp from the pan and place on a plate.
- Reduce the heat to medium and stir in 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Once the butter has melted, add 4 minced garlic cloves to the pan and cook for 1 minute.
- Return the shrimp to the pan and toss with the garlic butter sauce.
- You can also add lemon juice if you want to give your shrimp that sour taste.
